New stuff for 2022

We are constantly trialing new plants and ideas, most work but the odd one stretches our ability and after I stop swearing we re-focus and look for something else.

This year we have a few cool new plants:

Lisianthus: quite a common appearance in bouquets and usually grown by cut flower producers, its typically a tall stemmed perennial which doesn’t present well as a plant for the home gardener, but stunning flowers. We are trialing a new compact range which are really designed for container work, all going well they should be available in late spring, and then we will make them available on the website.

Aquilegia; An old fashioned plant (Granny’s Bonnet) traditional forms can be quite tall and leggy, but flowers make up for a crappy habit. We have a new super compact range that look stunning, masses of two tone flowers on tight compact plants. his will be another spring addition and once again all going well they should make an appearance on the website in late spring.
